Cyclone Karlheinz is approaching Ukraine: where to expect bad weather

On Monday, July 28, meteorologists predict that the western part of Ukraine will be hit by cyclone Karlheinz. Rain with thunderstorms is expected, locally - heavy downpours, gusts, and hail.


Unstable rainy weather will also reach Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and partially Chernihiv regions tomorrow. The rest of Ukraine will have dry weather. The air temperature is extremely high in the southern part of Ukraine and in Dnipro region, expected +32°, +39°.



Meteorologists emphasize that in the western regions and in northern Ukraine, comfortable air temperatures will prevail, during the day +23°, +29°. In the central regions - heat, +30°, +35°. In Dnipro region up to +37°, in Vinnytsia and Poltava +25°, +30°.



In the eastern regions, +30°, +33° is expected. In Kyiv, occasional downpours and thunderstorms with temperatures of +25°, +28° are anticipated. A hot Tuesday is expected, up to +34°, and high humidity.



According to meteorologists, a relief from the heat in Ukraine can be expected on July 31. Regarding today, July 27, cloudy weather with hail and gusts is forecast. In the western regions, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions, moderate rains are expected.


Meteorologists predict that August will be hot and dry, with temperatures above average.
