The price of gas in a cylinder has risen again
The average retail price of liquefied gas in Ukraine has increased by UAH 2.01 per liter and reached UAH 37.14/liter for the week of December 8-15, 2023. This price increase was due to a spike in purchasing costs and delays in fuel supplies.
It should be noted that the price for gas from domestic producers fluctuated between UAH 35.59 and UAH 36.53/liter. At the same time, the average wholesale price of the product rose by UAH 4,910/ton to UAH 62,700/ton. Temperature also affects gas density, which increases its cost.

It is worth noting that on December 10, 2023, trading took place on the Ukrainian energy exchange, which could have influenced the gas price situation. Overall, the liquefied gas market in Ukraine continues to show trends of rising costs caused by various economic factors.
The increase in prices for liquefied gas in Ukraine may negatively impact household expenses, especially during winter when fuel demand typically rises.
It is also important to pay attention to price fluctuations in different networks, as this may indicate competition in the market and companies' adaptation to changes in the economic situation. In the future, changes in supply and purchase prices may continue to impact the market for energy resources in Ukraine.
