Ukrainians received news about record prices for apples in supermarkets and markets. According to the information portal Minfin, prices for this popular fruit have set new records, causing concern among consumers. Currently, prices range from 74.99 to 108.90 UAH per kilogram in supermarkets, while at markets prices fluctuate from 40 to 60 UAH per kilogram, which is also higher compared to last year.
The situation with apple prices in Kyiv and Odesa is slightly different: in Kyiv, prices are lower than in supermarkets, whereas at the Odesa market, premium apple varieties can reach up to 130 UAH per kilogram, depending on quality and place of sale.
Ukrainians have had to look for more affordable alternatives for purchasing apples, as prices for this product have soared to record levels. In supermarkets, the average price is 87.63 UAH per kilogram, exceeding last year's prices and requiring consumers to spend more. The situation at markets is not much better, with prices also significantly higher than in the previous period. This puts Ukrainians in a difficult financial position, forcing them to carefully choose where and for how much to buy this popular fruit.
