In August 2025, a decrease in apple prices is observed in Ukraine, which still remain high for many buyers. According to data from the Minfin, Capital and Odessa markets, after the summer peak, apple prices began to decrease, starting from 100 hryvnias per kilogram.
In large supermarkets, the average price for domestic apples is about 76.87 hryvnias per kilogram. The Metro chain sells for 72.70 UAH/kg, Auchan - 69.90 UAH/kg, Novus - 69.99 UAH/kg, while Megamarket maintains the highest price of 94.90 UAH/kg. There is a significant price range at markets from 30 to 130 UAH per kilogram depending on the variety and quality.
At the Odessa market, elite varieties such as Golden are sold for 120-130 UAH, Fuji - for 75-85 UAH. The Champion, Gala, and Black Prince varieties can be purchased for 50 to 90 hryvnias.
According to the latest research, apple prices in Ukraine have significantly decreased in August 2025, reflecting a downward trend. Consumers may notice the price difference both at markets and in large supermarkets, so now they can save on the purchase of fresh apples.
