Sharp Increase in Ukrainian Table Beet Prices
Table beet prices in Ukraine have risen sharply this week, climbing an average of 19% compared to the end of the previous working week. In response to the shifting market, farmers are now prepared to ship beets at prices ranging from 5 to 10 Ukrainian hryvnias per kilogram, which is approximately $0.12 to $0.23 USD per kilogram. Despite this recent increase, current prices for table beets remain 49% lower than they were during the same period last year, indicating longer-term market trends.
