Ukrainians were shown how prices for butter, chicken eggs, and bread changed at the end of August. According to the Minfin portal, prices for basic food products on the market have changed.
Butter
Village butter has reduced its price from 115.87 hryvnias to 111.12 hryvnias for a 200-gram pack, which means a savings of about 4.75 hryvnias. Yagotyn butter decreased from 109.00 hryvnias to 108.95 hryvnias.
Eggs
Prices are rising in the chicken egg market. A pack of ten Kvochka eggs increased in price from 66.88 hryvnias to 67.90 hryvnias, but a pack of Yasensvit eggs for 10 pieces has become cheaper. Large packs have different price dynamics.
Bread
Prices for wheat bread have slightly decreased. For example, sliced wheat bread weighing 650 g decreased in price from 48.77 hryvnias to 47.99 hryvnias. The 'Tsar Khlib' bread weighing 600 g has also slightly decreased in price.
Earlier, there was a report about rising prices for alcohol in Ukraine.
According to the Minfin portal, at the beginning of September, prices for some basic food products in Ukraine have gone in different directions. Butter has become slightly cheaper, but prices for chicken eggs and bread may vary depending on the manufacturer and packaging.
