Ukrainians can save on vegetable, mushroom, and fruit purchases by choosing between markets and supermarkets. For example, cucumbers at markets are significantly cheaper than in supermarket chains, where prices can be higher by several hryvnias per kilogram.

Cucumbers show the largest price gap. At markets, the average price is 95-105 hryvnias per kilogram, while in supermarkets the price reaches 168.90 hryvnias per kilo (smooth). Regular ones cost about 129.00 UAH/kg.

You can also save on purchasing tomatoes, mushrooms, apples, and pears. Prices at markets are often significantly lower than in supermarkets, where the cost of products can be much higher.

According to the Minfin portal and the Capital Market, careful choice of the place for purchases can become the main argument for saving money in the family budget.
