Ukraine's Fuel Price Snapshot (March 14, 2026)
As of March 14, 2026, average fuel prices in Ukraine show a mixed picture. The average cost of A-95 gasoline is 69.76 UAH per liter, while the average price for diesel has reached 77.42 UAH per liter. Gasoline prices have remained virtually unchanged, whereas diesel fuel has become more expensive at most filling stations. Meanwhile, prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stayed the same almost everywhere, except for the SOCAR network, where the price increased by 2 UAH.
This price movement comes as global oil prices have surged past $100 per barrel for the first time since 2022. By Sunday evening, U.S. oil futures had jumped 14.7%, and the benchmark Brent crude added over 12%, reaching $104. In the cost structure of agricultural production, fuel expenses account for 10-15%, meaning a sustained increase in fuel costs could push up prices for agricultural products by 1-2%.
Government Response and Fuel Pricing
Ukrainian officials have commented on the fuel market situation. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that
"the authorities will try to curb any rise in gasoline prices."Additionally, First Deputy Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko announced that
"citizens will be eligible for a cashback from the state when purchasing fuel at gas stations."
The table below details fuel prices at major Ukrainian filling station networks as of this date:
- UPG: A95 - 68.90, A95+ - 71.90, Diesel - 76.90, Diesel+ - 79.90, A100 - 78.90, LPG - 43.40.
- OKKO: A95 - 70.99, A95+ - 73.99, Diesel - 78.99, Diesel+ - 81.99, A100 - 80.99, LPG - 44.99.
- WOG: A95 - 70.99, A95+ - 73.99, Diesel - 78.99, Diesel+ - 81.99, A100 - 80.99, LPG - 44.98.
- KLO: A95 - 70.49, A95+ - 74.89, Diesel - 79.09, Diesel+ - 82.19, A100 - 81.29, A92 - 69.49, LPG - 44.60.
- SOCAR: A95 - 70.99, A95+ - 74.99, Diesel - 79.99, Diesel+ - 82.99, A100 - 80.99, LPG - 44.98.
- UKRNAFTA: A95 - 68.99, A95+ - 71.99, Diesel - 73.99, Diesel+ - 77.99, A92 - 65.99, LPG - 40.99.
- BRSM: A95+ - 67.99, Diesel - 73.99, Diesel+ - 76.99, LPG - 39.99.
Consequently, the situation on Ukraine's fuel market leaves questions about price stability and potential future changes unresolved. The ongoing conflict makes Ukraine's economy particularly sensitive to global energy price shocks, which directly impact logistics and food production costs.
The rise in oil prices could have a significant impact on Ukraine's economy, especially in the agricultural sector, where fuel constitutes a substantial portion of production costs. The authorities are already taking measures to prevent a sharp increase in gasoline prices, but the situation remains dynamic. While the proposed fuel purchase cashback may provide an additional incentive for consumers, its effectiveness will depend on further fluctuations in the global oil market.
