Latest Fuel Price Update for Ukraine
As of March 27, 2026, fuel prices in Ukraine have been adjusted. The average cost for A-95 gasoline is now 72.72 UAH per liter, while the average price for diesel fuel stands at 84.48 UAH per liter. The most expensive fuel is offered by the OKKO, WOG, and Socar filling station networks, whereas the cheapest can be found at Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta stations.
Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee intends to investigate the situation on the fuel market. The price of oil has surpassed the $100 per barrel mark for the first time since 2022, a global factor that could influence further price changes in the fuel sector. Fuel expenses account for 10-15% of the cost of agricultural production, which may lead to a 1-2% increase in prices for products from the agricultural sector.
The government is attempting to curb the rise in gasoline prices, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. To support citizens amid rising fuel costs, a cashback program will be provided when purchasing fuel at filling stations, according to Yuliia Svyrydenko.

In the context of rising fuel prices, farmers may face additional costs, which, as noted by Taras Vysotskyi, could be reflected in the price of their produce.
The increase in fuel prices is a significant economic factor for Ukraine, as it directly impacts production costs, especially in the agricultural sector. The authorities are attempting to respond to these changes through support programs like cashback, which may ease the financial burden for consumers. However, the long-term consequences for the market remain uncertain, given the volatility of global oil prices. Careful monitoring and regulation of the fuel market may become necessary steps to stabilize the situation.
