Expect a decrease in fuel prices! According to the latest forecasts from experts, Ukrainian drivers can expect a drop in fuel prices of approximately 2 hryvnias per liter as early as autumn. This information was published in a material by RBC-Ukraine.
The main reason for this development is the situation in the international oil market. Over the past month, the price of Brent oil has fluctuated around 66-69 dollars per barrel, and there is a surplus of fuel supply over demand on the global market.
Oil market expert Serhiy Sapehin emphasizes that the decline in fuel prices is inevitable against the backdrop of supply exceeding demand.
Director of the 'A-95' company Serhiy Kuyun predicts a decrease in gasoline prices by 1.5-2 hryvnias per liter and denies rumors about a possible increase in fuel prices. Kuyun also stresses the diversified fuel supply system, which operates effectively and does not give grounds for unjustified price increases.
CEO of Prime Group Dmytro Leushkin adds that the shift to less active conditions amid rising fuel prices will contribute to a decrease in prices. The anticipated decrease in diesel fuel may also range from 1 to 2 hryvnias per liter.
The decrease in fuel prices will be gradual until November, but in December, this process is expected to halt before the influx of the new year and potential tax increases.
Thus, the cost of fuel may decrease in the coming months, which will be good news for Ukrainian car owners.
The message about the potential decline in fuel prices in Ukraine this autumn indicates a forecasted positive trend for car owners. The decline in fuel prices is due to a surplus of supply in the international oil market, and experts predict a significant drop in fuel prices in the coming months, which may be pleasant news for Ukrainian drivers.
