Last week was very eventful for Ukraine. Our country received significant financial support from the European Union amounting to approximately €5.9 billion. New investment agreements were also made during the ReBuild Ukraine forum held in Warsaw. The US government appointed an Investment Advisor for the American-Ukrainian Recovery Investment Fund. Other partners, such as the European Investment Bank and the European Union, also allocated significant funds for the reconstruction of important infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
It is extremely important that frontline regions receive a substantial amount of support for urgent needs.
There is also important news about strengthened cooperation between the Ministry of Development and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in the field of public investments and reconstruction.
It is very positive that the support program for frontline regions is already showing its first results, in particular, significant funding has been received by medical institutions. The government has also made an important decision that gives communities the opportunity to independently address housing recovery issues.
