Introducing Reflect: A New Analytics Feature

On July 9, 2026, Anthropic announced the launch of Reflect, a new analytics dashboard for its chatbot Claude. Available on both the web and desktop versions, the panel lets users monitor conversation topics, peak usage times, and tasks completed through the bot. It also provides helpful tips, allows users to set quiet hours, and sends break reminders. Currently in beta, Reflect is accessible to Free, Pro, and Max subscribers.

How the Reflect Dashboard Works

Users can access the Reflect panel through the settings menu in Claude's web and desktop apps. The dashboard displays the topics, days, and times users interact with the chatbot. To improve the overall experience, Reflect periodically asks users about their usage habits. It also offers the option to enable quiet hours and schedule break reminders, which are tied to individual settings and can be turned off at any time.

Anthropic notes that while Reflect may eventually include generalized sensitive conversations, any dialogues involving health-related tools are completely excluded from the analytics. Importantly, data collected from the panel is not used for any other purposes. In the future, Reflect will also show users how much time they have spent chatting with Claude.

For context, Google launched Gmail Meter in 2012, which analyzed users' email inboxes—a testament to the growing popularity of analytics tools in modern technology. As noted in the announcement, Reflect asks users:

“What do you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?”

This feature opens up new opportunities for optimizing how people interact with artificial intelligence.

The rollout of Reflect underscores Anthropic's commitment to improving user efficiency with Claude and tailoring the chatbot to individual needs. In a world where analytics tools are becoming increasingly vital for streamlining workflows, this feature can help users better manage their time and tasks. It also reflects a broader trend toward greater personalization in AI technology.
