New method of deferment processing

Lawyer Daria Tarasenko shared on Facebook about the new rules for extending deferments from conscription. Now this process includes the Center for Administrative Services, which has led to some misunderstanding among citizens.

'We will understand how everything will work in practice in the coming days. However, it is already clear that not all deferments will be automatically extended,' Tarasenko noted.

The Center accepts documents for deferment processing and forwards them to the Territorial Civil Commission and the conscription officer, but does not independently make decisions regarding deferments. The commission reviews applications and decides whether to grant or deny a deferment, and may also annul previously granted deferments.

Starting from November 1, documents for deferment must be submitted to the Center, as the Territorial Civil Commission and the conscription officer will no longer accept applications directly. The new rules were announced in advance.

The lawyer's explanation regarding the process of obtaining deferments from military service in Ukraine looks concise and understandable for citizens. The new rules imply changes, particularly in the submissions of documents and the involvement of the Center for Administrative Services in the process.
