Linguist Olga Vasilyeva shared advice on the correct naming of ATO participants, employees of the ZSU and SBU. According to her recommendations, participants of the anti-terrorist operation can be called 'atovtsy' and 'atovki', SBU employees - 'esbeuvtsy', and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - 'zeesuvtsy'. Terms 'natovtsy' and 'oonivtsy' with corresponding feminine forms were also proposed. These tips may help avoid misunderstandings and incorrect use of terms in the modern Ukrainian language.
At the same time, the linguist also made efforts to explain the difference between the use of adverbs 'po-ukrayinski' and 'ukrayinskim'. She noted that the adverb 'po-ukrayinski' can have several meanings depending on the context of its use, which is important for the correct perception of the Ukrainian language and avoiding linguistic errors.
