From June 9 to 14, dozens of seasonal markets will operate in Kyiv, where residents will be able to purchase vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy products, and other goods directly from producers. Trading sites will open in most districts of the capital to provide residents convenient access to fresh products near their homes. This is reported by the Department of Industry and Enterprise Development of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Seasonal markets in Kyiv will take place in different districts of the city
Throughout the week, the markets will operate according to a separate schedule in various locations of the capital. The largest number of trading sites will traditionally open in the Holosiivsky, Darnytsia, Dnipro, Sviatoshyn and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
In particular, on Tuesday, June 9, markets will unfold on Nauky Avenue, Yevhenii Kharchenko Street, Ivan Mykytenko Street, as well as at several locations in the Sviatoshyn and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
In the coming days, trading sites will also sequentially operate in the Pechersk, Podil, Solomianskyi, Obolon and Dnipro districts.
Where to buy fresh products on weekends
The largest number of markets is planned for Friday and Saturday. On June 13, trading points will operate simultaneously in eight districts of the capital, including on Pankivska Street, Revutskyi, Serezha Lyfarya, Stadiumna and Stepan Bandera Avenue.
On Sunday, June 14, markets will open in the Holosiivsky, Darnytsia, Dnipro, Pechersk and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
The KMDA reminded that during visits to the markets, safety rules must be followed and, in case of an air alert, one should immediately proceed to the nearest shelter.
In addition to temporary trading sites, stationary municipal markets continue to operate daily in the capital, where products from local producers and farms can also be purchased.
Recall that the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) decided to prohibit the use of tents in the metro during alerts.
