DeepState's Frontline Map Update: Russian Forces Seized Over 4,300 Square Kilometers in a Year

Оновлення карти від DeepState: Протягом року російські війська захопили понад 4,300 квадратних кілометрів території.

Updated Map of Combat Operations

The analytical portal DeepState has released an updated map of the frontline, documenting Russian military advances across several sectors and the territories they occupied in 2025. Over the course of the year, Russian forces took control of 4,336 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory, an area roughly equivalent to 0.72% of Ukraine's total landmass. This ongoing conflict continues to reshape the map of Eastern Europe, with significant strategic implications.

Frontline Confrontations

Russian troops have occupied Bondarne and made advances in Nykyforivka in the Donetsk region. The map also notes enemy progress near Tykhe in the Kharkiv region, as well as in the areas of Pryvillia, Pokrovsk, Nykyforivka, and Vasiukivka in Donetsk. Ukrainian defense forces successfully halted Russian attempts to advance in the Prymorske and Lukianivske directions.

The revision of the combat map and the marking of new territories under Russian control highlight the persistent and dynamic nature of the war. The seizure of new ground remains a critical element of military strategy, which is likely to influence the future actions of both sides and the broader geopolitical situation in the region.
