Conception of the Righteous Anna of the Holy Mother of God
Today, December 9, marks the Day of St. Anna - the Conception of the Righteous Anna of the Holy Mother of God, the patroness of family, motherhood, and children. It is a day to remember the story of Anna and Joachim, the parents of the Holy Mary, and to honor them in general.
According to Christian tradition, Anna prayed for a child for a long time, and God accepted her prayers, allowing the birth of Mary - the Mother of Jesus Christ. Therefore, this holiday symbolizes hope, faith, and joy in new life.
Now Ukrainian Orthodox and Greek Catholic churches celebrate this holiday according to the new calendar style, which has led to some holidays moving 13 days earlier. So we congratulate everyone celebrating the Day of Anna, wishing health, happiness, and well-being in the family.
'Glavkom' has gathered the best congratulations on the Day of St. Anna.
We rejoice in St. Anna and all who celebrate her day, wishing goodness, warmth, and joy in the heart.
