A Kyiv City Council member and military medic Alina Mykhailova has found herself at the center of a scandal due to a statement made by blogger Myroslav Oleshko, who is under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council and has suspicions from the Security Service of Ukraine. Oleshko claims that during fundraising for his unit 'Wolves Da Vinci', she purchased a new Mercedes. Mykhailova called this 'slander and part of an information war' and promised to defend her position in court.

In March of this year, while fundraising for her battalion Wolves Da Vinci, council member Alina Mykhailova purchased a new Mercedes GLA 200 for $61K - wrote the blogger and posted a screenshot from the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding registered vehicles, which indicates Mykhailova Alina Arthurovna as the owner of the car.

Who is Myroslav Oleshko

Myroslav Oleshko began his blogging career in 2013, covering the events of the EuroMaidan and the conflict in eastern Ukraine. In August 2023, he left Ukraine using a forged military medical commission certificate, which allowed him to avoid mobilization. While abroad, he began publishing materials that discredited mobilization and called on citizens to evade military service. In November 2023, the Security Service of Ukraine notified him in absentia of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the use of forged documents.

'Glavcom' reported that the 'Chesno' movement included Myroslav Oleshko in the Register of Traitors for spreading fakes and pro-Russian narratives.

It is worth noting that in March, Monobank blocked Myroslav Oleshko's account.

As a result of the scandal, it turned out that council member and military medic Alina Mykhailova purchased a new Mercedes during fundraising for the military unit. This information sparked a loud reaction from the public and outrage among civil activists, as well as attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies.
