Yevhen Korff, director of LLC NVP 'Energo-Plus', emphasized that paying debts to renewable energy investors could be an important step in restoring Ukraine's energy infrastructure. According to associations, debts to 'green' electricity producers currently amount to 22 billion UAH, with the largest unpaid sums identified in 2022 and 2024. At the same time, the debt of NPC 'Ukrenergo' to the enterprise 'Guaranteed Buyer' amounts to 16.3 billion UAH.

Korff noted that investors have appealed to the NEURC for assistance in resolving the debt issue, including regulating the debt repayment mechanism and agreeing on a new calculation formula.

The funds obtained are planned to be invested in new projects, as Ukrainian entrepreneurs approach the restoration of energy responsibly. Investors hope for the development of a clear plan from the state regarding the repayment of debts for electricity produced in 2022.

The report provides information that renewable energy investors in Ukraine may be paid debts, which is a step towards restoring energy infrastructure. It notes the specific amounts of debts that exist and to whom, as well as provides some details on investors' appeals to the relevant authorities to address this issue.
