The Verkhovna Rada has published the key parameters of the State Budget project of Ukraine for 2026, including the minimum living wage. According to new data, the minimum living wage in 2026 will amount to 3,209 hryvnias. This is an important indicator, as it will affect social payments, including pensions and benefits.

Minimum Pensions and Social Benefits

The minimum pension amount in Ukraine will equal one minimum living wage for non-working individuals. Thus, in 2026, the minimum pension will be 3,209 hryvnias. The maximum pension amount, according to the new parameters, will equal ten minimum living wages, which makes 32,090 hryvnias.

  • The basic tax social benefit in 2026 will be half of the minimum living wage, which amounts to 1,604.50 hryvnias.
  • Assistance for children under guardianship will be 2.5 minimum living wages, which will amount to 8,022.50 hryvnias.

It is worth noting that the minimum living wage in 2027 will be 3,482 hryvnias, and in 2028 it will reach 3,667 hryvnias. These changes will undoubtedly affect the social policy of the state and the well-being of citizens.
