Government Bond Auction Highlights

In today’s auction for domestic government bonds (OVDP), Ukraine’s state budget secured 2.21 billion UAH in funding. One-year bonds offered an annual yield of 15.14% and attracted 1.009 billion UAH, while three-year bonds, with a higher yield of 16.49% per year, brought in 1.202 billion UAH.

Funding Ukraine’s Defense and Economic Stability

Since the beginning of 2026, the government has raised over 349.35 billion UAH through bond sales, and since the full-scale war started, more than 2.36 trillion UAH has been mobilized. All proceeds from these war bonds are dedicated to strengthening Ukraine’s Armed Forces and enhancing the country’s financial resilience. Auctions for these domestic bonds occur every Tuesday, with each bond having a face value of 1,000 UAH, 1,000 USD, or 1,000 EUR. Investors can find detailed information at bonds.gov.ua.

The consistent demand for these government securities reflects investor confidence in Ukraine’s financial system amid ongoing conflict. Supporting the military and maintaining fiscal stability remain top priorities for the government, underscoring the critical role these auctions play in securing essential resources for key national sectors.
