State support for agricultural production in Ukraine in 2025
In 2025, state support for agricultural production in Ukraine continues, particularly in the areas of horticulture, greenhouse farming, and new crops. A total of 47 decisions were adopted to grant support for the development of horticulture, berry farming, and viticulture, amounting to a total of 162.4 million hryvnias. These measures contribute not only to improving the agricultural sector but also to creating new jobs.
Development of greenhouse farming and new initiatives
Additionally, in 2025, 22 decisions were made for the development of greenhouse farming, allocating 110.8 million hryvnias. Thanks to these initiatives, over 6,000 new jobs have been created, positively impacting the economic situation in the regions.
In March 2025, a Register of legal entities engaged in sowing, growing, and processing hemp for industrial purposes was launched. Currently, 33 companies have declared the sowing of industrial hemp on an area of 3,124 hectares. Starting in 2026, grants for the construction of vegetable storage facilities are planned, aiming for further development of the agricultural sector in Ukraine.
