From May 25 to 28, soldiers from the 46th Separate Airmobile Podilsk Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces conducted a four-day intensive training course for civilians called 'Entry Point.' The event took place at an undisclosed military training ground operated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Participants gained foundational military skills, which covered:
- weapons handling and marksmanship
- tactical combat medicine
- engineering fundamentals
- drone operation
- countermeasures against hostile UAVs
Curriculum and Outcomes
The intensive program included practical exercises such as trench assault drills and disembarking from armored vehicles. Trainees also completed a night field exercise and a psychological obstacle course featuring simulated explosions and gunfire sounds. Upon completion, each participant received personalized feedback from brigade instructors and a certificate of attendance.
These training sessions are held on a recurring basis, highlighting the brigade’s ongoing commitment to educating civilians in military skills. Attendees gained knowledge applicable to modern security challenges.
This initiative underscores the growing importance of civilian military preparedness amid rising security threats. By offering such courses, the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively involve the public in strengthening national defense. Regular boot camps like this one help raise awareness and readiness among citizens, potentially improving overall security across the country.
