Air Assault Forces' Operation
Ukrainian Air Assault Forces are conducting an active operation in the Olexandrivka direction, aiming to disrupt the Russian Federation's plans for advancement in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. In the course of this operation, the Air Assault grouping, together with adjacent units, has regained control over an area exceeding 300 square kilometers. This advance is part of Ukraine's broader effort to reclaim its sovereign territory in the south, where fighting has been intense for months.
The operation's key objectives include:
- Defeating enemy troop concentrations;
- Pushing them beyond the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast;
- Actively repelling enemy attacks;
- Conducting offensive actions.
It was noted that eight settlements have been cleared of hostile sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Securing the Territory
In the Huliaipole and adjacent directions within Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukrainian defenders have re-established control over more than 300 square kilometers. This has improved the tactical situation on the southern front, particularly in the area near the settlements of Vyshneve, Verbove, and Ternove. The active phase of the operation is ongoing, and the Air Assault grouping continues to execute its tasks.
This operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces underscores the strategic importance of the contested territories in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Regaining control of significant areas not only allows for the destruction of enemy forces but also helps secure the safety of local residents. The successful actions of Ukrainian troops also demonstrate their readiness to counter aggression and maintain defensive positions on key fronts of the war.
