Nine new movies are set for theatrical release on March 12, 2026. Among them is the Ukrainian comedy 'When Will You Divorce?', a sequel to the 2025 film 'When Will You Get Married?'. This latest installment was filmed in Bulgaria near the Black Sea, with production involving the studios UnitedContentHub, komarovskyi Films, Odesa Film Studio, Concept Studio (Bulgaria), and Imart_lv (Latvia). This slate highlights the growing international collaboration in European film production.

Another major release is 'The Legacy Hunter', produced with a budget of $15 million. Over a third of this sum was allocated to location scouting and set design. Filming took place in the United States and the United Kingdom, specifically in the counties of Kent and Gloucestershire. The film 'The Secret Agent' has already garnered international acclaim, winning two Golden Globe awards for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Actor, along with two awards from the Cannes Film Festival. Made on a budget of approximately $5 million, it has earned over $20 million at the global box office.

Other New Releases

Another new title is 'Memories of Him', which was filmed in early summer 2025 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The film 'The Tennis Maestro' was presented out of competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on the last day of summer in 2025. Production for this movie took place in late 2024 across various Italian cities, including Rome and Gaeta. The premiere of 'Bad Boys Must Die' occurred in October 2025 in a video-on-demand (VOD) format.

The Norwegian-made film 'Kraken' was produced with a budget exceeding $6 million and has grossed over $14 million worldwide. Shooting for this thriller occurred in the second half of 2024 on Norway's western coast and partially in studio soundstages in Finland. 'Kraken' premiered in early February 2026. Also on the list is 'The Witch: A Family Curse', produced by Rebellium Films and Wicked Myth Films, which premiered in October 2024.

This diverse lineup for March 12, 2026, promises a rich selection of genres and stories for a wide audience. It reflects a rising interest in Ukrainian cinema and the positive impact of active international studio cooperation on the industry's development.
