Educational Initiative Launched for Safer Internet Day
To mark Safer Internet Day, Dіia.Osvita has released new educational resources focused on identifying online threats. The centerpiece is an interactive cyber quest designed to teach participants how to counter dangers like deepfakes, phishing, and data theft. This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen digital resilience in Ukraine.
Research on digital and AI literacy reveals that 78% of Ukrainian teenagers have encountered data security incidents. The study also found that two-thirds of Ukrainian adults have faced similar problems, highlighting a widespread need for better cybersecurity education across all age groups.
Special Dіia.Osvita Learning Portal
The special Dіia.Osvita section will feature life-situation simulators and educational series. Participants who score over half of the correct answers in the quest will be eligible to enter a draw for Dіia.Osvita merchandise, adding a motivational element to the learning process.
The launch of these materials ahead of Safer Internet Day is a significant step in raising cybersecurity awareness among Ukrainians. As data protection incidents become more frequent globally, such interactive programs are crucial for building the skills needed to navigate the internet safely. Engaging, gamified learning tools are particularly effective for involving younger audiences in this critical topic.
