Dynamo lost to Maccabi 1:3 in the Europa League play-off: red card and defeat in minority

Today, August 21, in the Europa League play-off round, Kyiv's 'Dynamo' played against the Israeli 'Maccabi' from Tel Aviv. The match took place in the Serbian city of Bačka Topola at the TSC Arena.


The Kyiv team started the Europa League qualifying play-off with a defeat, losing in an away match against 'Maccabi' Tel Aviv with a score of 1:3. The Israeli club opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but Nazar Voloshin equalized in the 32nd minute. However, after a red card for Dynamo defender Konstantin Vivcharenko, the team conceded two more goals and lost the match.



Regarding another Ukrainian team, Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' drew in the first match of the Europa Conference League qualifying play-off against the Swiss 'Servette'. The match took place in Polish Krakow at the Henryk Reyman Stadium.



In the Europa League play-off, 'Dynamo' lost to the Israeli 'Maccabi', missing the chance to advance to the next round. 'Shakhtar', on the other hand, drew, keeping their chances of winning in the return leg. We will be waiting for the resolution of these games in the next round.
