The Emergency Service warned Ukrainians about a significant deterioration of weather conditions in the eastern regions of the country. On the night of October 23, residents of the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions will face the first autumn frosts.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the air temperature in these areas will drop to 0-3 degrees below zero. In connection with this, the State Emergency Service declared a level II danger (orange). 'Be careful and get out your scarves and down jackets,' the agency appeals to citizens.
At the same time, on October 22, the weather in Ukraine will be cloudy with clearings. During the night hours in the eastern regions, and during the day in the central regions, light rain is expected in some places. The rest of the territory will remain precipitation-free.

Forecasters predict a southeast wind at a speed of 5-10 m/s, which will change direction to the northwest in the eastern regions. The temperature regime will range from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius at night and from 8 to 13 degrees during the day. In the extreme west and south of the country, daytime temperatures may reach 15 degrees.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports that on October 22, a slow change of cold air currents from the north to warmer ones from the southern directions will begin. The night will remain cold, and moderate warmth is expected during the day. Atmospheric pressure will slowly increase, and humidity will remain high with many clouds.
In the Kyiv region and the capital, cloudy weather with clearings and no precipitation is forecasted. The southeast wind blows at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The temperature in the region will be 1-6 degrees Celsius at night and 8-13 degrees during the day. In Kyiv, it is expected to be 3-5 degrees at night and around 10 degrees during the day.
Weather in Ukraine at the end of October is getting colder, and frosts may already occur at night in the eastern regions. The population is warned to be careful and prepare for changes in weather conditions by taking the necessary clothing with them.
