Today, December 11, the draw for the second round of qualification for Euro-2026 among girls under 17 took place, with the participation of the Ukrainian national team (players not older than 2009). This was reported by 'Hlavkom' citing UAF.

Before the draw for the second round, the blue and yellows were placed in the first pot of the second division.
As a result of the draw, the Ukrainians ended up in group B5, where their opponents are the national teams of Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind that to qualify for the World Cup, Ukraine needs to overcome two more opponents.
In the semi-final playoff on March 26, 2026, our team will meet the national team of Sweden. If victorious, Ukrainians will face the winner of the pair Poland – Albania in the final match.
The Ukrainian national football team completed the first stage of the European qualifiers for the World Championship, which will take place next year in three countries of North America.
The last and decisive match was the game against Iceland, which the Ukrainians lost 3:5 in the first match, but due to several setbacks (including against Azerbaijan), these two teams approached with the same number of points. However, the advantage lay with the 'blue-yellows' rivals, so a victory in the match in Warsaw was necessary.
In the second half, Ukraine scored two goals and continues to fight for a ticket to the Mundial.
