Document Checks During Dmytro Volkánov's Tour
Ukrainian singer Dmytro Volkánov has revealed that he and his team were repeatedly stopped and had their documents inspected by officials from Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRCs) while on tour across the country. The artist stated these checks occurred in nearly every region, creating a feeling that he was somehow breaking the law. This highlights the heightened security and mobilization enforcement measures in place across Ukraine since the full-scale invasion.
"We faced intense inspections, as if we were criminals. This happened in almost every region. And sometimes the TRC staff communicate with artists in a way that makes me feel like I'm violating the law," Volkánov noted.
The 24-year-old Dmytro Volkánov was touring Ukrainian cities with his team. He stressed that his team is fully prepared, possesses all necessary documentation, and operates entirely within legal boundaries.
"With all due respect, gentlemen, I am 24 years old," he added, explaining why their legitimacy should not be questioned.
Volkánov also emphasized that "no one would take unnecessary risks." He mentioned they always greet TRC representatives and inform them they are conducting a charity concert. "They wanted and tried to mobilize someone, but couldn't, because everyone's documents were in order," the artist concluded.
Other Ukrainian Artists in the Armed Forces
