Temporary Suspension of Passport Issuance
From September 28 to September 30, 2026, the State Migration Service of Ukraine has temporarily stopped issuing passports because of a technical malfunction affecting the electronic communications service provider's equipment. During this period, the official website of the Migration Service will also be offline.
According to a statement on the Migration Service's Facebook page, the disruption stems from limited access to certain information and telecommunications systems. As a result,
"passport issuance services will be unavailable from September 28 to September 30, 2026. Additionally, the official website will remain inaccessible while the operator conducts necessary repairs,"the agency confirmed.

The State Migration Service urges the public to take note of this interruption and apologizes for any inconvenience caused. While restoration efforts are underway, no exact date has been provided for resuming full operations.
