Over 30 Attacks Hit Dnipro in a Single Day: 4 Dead, 19 Wounded

У Дніпрі за один день сталося понад 30 вогневих нападів: 4 загиблих, 19 поранених.

Strikes Across the Dnipropetrovsk Region

Russian forces launched more than 30 attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing 4 people and injuring 19. The situation was most severe in Dnipro city, where four men aged 23, 33, 44, and 52 lost their lives. Currently, they remain hospitalized in critical condition. Among the wounded, 13 individuals sustained moderate injuries, while the rest are receiving outpatient care.

Overview of the Situation

The attacks were recorded in the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Kryvyi Rih districts. The Nikopol district endured artillery shelling and drone strikes. The enemy targeted the Marhanets, Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, and Tomakivka communities. Damaged structures include an administrative building, a hotel, multi-story apartment blocks, private homes, and vehicles. In the Synelnykove district, a private house and a farm building were hit, while in the Kryvyi Rih district, critical infrastructure suffered damage.

The occupiers used missiles, guided aerial bombs, artillery, and drones. On the night of May 5, the Russian army attacked Dnipro with drones, damaging three private houses and a critical infrastructure facility. One victim, a 62-year-old man, was injured in the Dnipro attack. Fires in the private sector were extinguished, but damaged vehicles remain as evidence of the destructive impact of these strikes.

These events highlight the escalating conflict in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where regular shelling leads to significant casualties and destruction. The importance of supporting civilians in such conditions becomes increasingly clear, as local communities struggle to cope with the aftermath—repairing damaged facilities and providing medical care to the injured. This underscores the need for international support and humanitarian aid to ensure the safety of the population in the area.

The ongoing violence in Dnipro has been particularly devastating, with recent reports highlighting the impact on vulnerable populations. In a related incident, a Russian strike injured two young children and a woman, further emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian assistance and protection for civilians caught in the crossfire.
