Situation with electricity supply in Dnipro
In Dnipro, over 18 thousand families remain without electricity due to shelling. A massive drone attack carried out by Russian terrorists severely damaged an energy facility, leading to significant disruptions in electricity supply. Most consumers in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions also remain without electricity.
Restoration of electricity supply
The DTEK company has already begun work on restoring electricity supply on the Left Bank and in the Dnipro district. DTEK's press service reported that the scale of damage is very significant and it is currently technically impossible to fully power all homes. DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko stated that a difficult winter awaits Ukrainians, noting that Ukraine's energy system is experiencing a shortage of backup power systems.

The situation with electricity supply in Dnipro and neighboring regions is a consequence of the ongoing aggression from Russia, which jeopardizes Ukraine's energy infrastructure. In wartime, when energy systems are under constant attack, it is important to ensure the stability of electricity supply, especially with the approach of the winter season, which may complicate the lives of citizens. DTEK's actions to restore electricity supply are key to supporting the population in this difficult situation.
