The Ministry of Internal Affairs presents a unique photo project about blind veterans: how they learn to live anew

Міністерство внутрішніх справ запускає незвичайний фотопроект, що демонструє шлях незрячих ветеранів до нового життя.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has presented the photo project 'Feeling with the Soul and Touch', featuring blind participants of the course 'Reboot 2.0'. Among them are veterans Oleg Derecha and Oleksandr Prasolov, who lost their sight on the front lines, as well as Viktor Smirnov, who has become a multiple Paralympic medalist. The course lasts 21 days, during which the men learn Braille, undergo occupational therapy, and study orientation skills with a white cane.

This project helps blind people adapt to new living conditions and teaches them new skills, including spatial orientation and the use of special fonts. Participants in the project demonstrate that despite physical limitations, they can successfully and creatively realize themselves in the modern world.
