Domen Prevts won the Four Hills Tournament: the Slovenian claimed the Golden Eagle

Domen Prevts' Victory

Domen Prevts became the winner of the 'Four Hills Tournament' for the 2025/26 season, claiming the 'Golden Eagle'. This success makes him the third representative of Slovenia to win this tournament. Previously, this honor was achieved by Primož Peterka in 1997 and Peter Prevts ten years ago.

Competition Results

Prevts showed impressive results during the competitions, winning the first two stages in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In the final stage in Bischofshofen, the Slovenian finished second, losing to Daniel Kohfeldt, who became the winner of the final stage. Despite this, Prevts managed to maintain the lead in the overall standings with a handicap of 42.3 points.

Among other participants:

  • Kamil Stoch ended his career after the season, finishing 18th in the final stage.
  • Yevhen Marusyak took 57th place in the overall standings.
  • Vitalii Kalinichenko could not overcome the qualifying barrier at any of the stages.
  • Ren Nikaido finished the competition in fourth place in the overall ranking.

Domen Prevts' victory in the 'Four Hills Tournament' not only emphasizes his personal achievements but also the stability and strength of Slovenian ski jumpers in this sport. Marking the third gold for Slovenia in the tournament's history, Prevts continues the traditions of success of his predecessors. The retirement of Kamil Stoch, who was one of the most renowned athletes in this sport, also adds an emotional context to this year's competitions, highlighting changes in the elite of ski jumping.
