Broader Forced Evacuation Measures in Donetsk
The Donetsk region has enlarged the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children within the Kramatorsk community. This decision received approval from the Coordination Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The evacuation order applies to residents living in the settlement of Malotaranivka, the village of Pryvillia, a section of the Bilenke settlement, and several streets in the city of Kramatorsk.
Children are being moved alongside their parents, guardians, or legal representatives. Multiple agencies are involved in the operation, including:
- military administrations
- police
- emergency responders
- social services
- child protection authorities
Evacuees are escorted from dangerous areas to reception points and then on to safer regions across Ukraine.
Governor Vadym Filashkin stated: 'Every decision we make has one goal—to prevent further losses among children.'
This underscores the severity of the situation and the urgent need for measures to protect children and their families. Previously, a similar mandatory evacuation zone was expanded along the Zolochiv direction in Kharkiv Oblast.
