How Social Assistance is Calculated
The amount of basic social aid a family receives is determined by its average monthly income, as defined by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 632. This calculation typically includes the official income of all household members over the three months preceding the application. However, the Pension Fund explicitly states:
"Funeral assistance is not included in the family's average total monthly income."This means receiving funeral aid will not disqualify a family or reduce its existing social payments.
