Doroshiuk becomes Diamond League runner-up for the second time in a row

Ukrainian athlete Oleg Doroshiuk won silver in the Diamond League final in Zurich in the high jump. The 24-year-old athlete cleared the bar at a height of 2.30 m, but his attempts to go higher at 2.32 m and 2.34 m were unsuccessful.



For the Ukrainian, this is already his second consecutive silver in the Diamond League finals.


Olympic champion from Australia Hamish Kerr won gold by clearing the bar at 2.32 m. Thus, Doroshiuk finished in second place.



It is worth noting that on the Diamond League stage in Brussels in high jump on August 22, Ukrainians Oleg Doroshiuk and Dmytro Nikitin also participated. Doroshiuk won a gold medal, while Nikitin took 10th place.


According to the results, Ukraine ranked 10th in the overall medal standings. Our team won 5 golds, 8 silvers, and 10 bronzes.



During the Diamond League final in Zurich, Ukrainian athlete Oleg Doroshiuk performed confidently, finishing second in the high jump competition. This is already the second consecutive silver medal for the athlete in Diamond League finals. An important achievement for the Ukrainian team was also 10th place in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 5 golds, 8 silvers, and 10 bronze medals.
