The state logistics operator of the Ministry of Defense is purchasing armored blankets for the first time to protect servicemen. These products resemble tarpaulins and protect against artillery shell fragments, mines, and other explosive items.
The armored blankets will be used for protection during movement across open terrain and for sheltering bunkers and positions. They will also be used for the evacuation of wounded individuals. The plan is to purchase the first 5,300 units for over 132 million UAH.
This is the first time the Ministry of Defense is purchasing armored blankets for the protection of servicemen. These products will be used for individual and collective protection of servicemen, providing them with protection against fragments of various explosive items. It is planned that the first 5,300 units will be purchased for over 132 million UAH.
