Sergeant Molly has been recognized as an outstanding star of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade in Zaporizhzhia. This vibrant personality possesses unique abilities to lift the spirits of servicemen with her striped tail and indomitable character. The young raccoon has become the drone operator Patrick's companion, who has become an integral part of the unit and a support for the warriors after difficult missions.
"I dreamed of having a dog, but I already have two at home, only they will come to meet me and get to know me. So I bought a raccoon in Kyiv. They said it was a girl, but appearances can be misleading," Patrick shares his thoughts.
Molly is just four months old, and she already loves the taste of peaches. She quickly integrated into the military family and even received a military rank, if we believe her owner's jokes.
Patrick, a war veteran and commander of the military unit, notes that Molly always waits for him at home, becoming a loyal friend and support in difficult moments.
"She has already figured out when I should return, she's always on guard," Patrick recounts.
Molly not only protects the brigade from troubles but also provides moral support for the servicemen after heavy combat operations at the front.
The shared life of Sergeant Molly and drone operator Patrick is an example of how warmth, affection, and support from animals can provide important psychological assistance to servicemen during their service.
