On the night of August 21, drones attacked the Voronezh region of Russia, leaving several villages without electricity. This was reported by Governor Alexander Gusev.
«Air defense forces have detected and destroyed more than five UAVs in one of the districts in the southern part of the region. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties,» the report says.
As a result of the drone's fall, an energy facility was damaged, causing the power supply to several villages to be disconnected. Some passenger trains were also delayed. Rescue services are already working to restore the situation.
«The immediate threat of a UAV strike remains in the Kantemirovsky and Rossoshansky districts. The danger regime for drone attacks operates throughout the region,» Gusev emphasized.
Drone attack in the Rostov region
It should be noted that on the same day, drones also attacked the Rostov region, injuring the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery.
