Drones of the SBS attacked a key node of the Druzhba oil pipeline: consequences for Russia

Robert Brovdi, the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, showed the aftermath of the fire at the 'Unecha' oil pumping station in the Bryansk region that occurred after the drone attack. This station is an important hub of the Druzhba main oil pipeline, which transports Russian oil to Europe.

Recently, the Druzhba pipeline has become the target of attacks. This has led to problems in fuel supply from Russia to Hungarian partners.


According to the Hungarian Foreign Minister, oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline have been restored, and he expressed gratitude to Russia for the quick recovery.


The European Commission stated that the Ukrainian attack on the Druzhba pipeline does not affect fuel supplies to Hungary and Slovakia. Despite complaints from the Hungarian side, the EU emphasized that the exact details of the origin of the attack are unknown, and these attacks do not impact energy supplies to Europe.



The fire at the oil pumping station in the Bryansk region occurred after the drone attack. At the attacked 'Unecha' station in the Bryansk region, military consequences of the attack were shown on the map during the fire. This facility is a key stopping point of the Druzhba main oil pipeline, through which Russia transports oil to Europe. Recently, the affected infrastructure became the target of numerous attacks that led to disruptions in fuel supply to Hungarian partners. However, due to the rapid recovery efforts from Russia, oil supplies have been restored despite the attack.
