Today marks two years since the death of border guard Ruslan Danilevych on the Bakhmut front. Ruslan, a native of Kherson region, gave his life defending the state from Russian aggression. Having signed a contract with the State Border Guard Service in 2015, he served in the area of the Joint Forces Operation and later took part in battles in Donetsk region, where he proved himself to be a brave and compassionate serviceman.
While carrying out combat tasks in the vicinity of Hryhorivka, Ruslan Danilevych was wounded by an FPV drone strike, which operational doctors could not save him from. He was evacuated to a stabilization point, but his injuries were too severe.
Today we honor the memory of all those who died as a result of this brutal invasion. The online resource in memory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs unites the stories of our heroes, among whom the name of Ruslan Danilevych will forever remain.
