First-Ever Participation by SES Medical Unit in the Championship
For the first time, a medical team from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) competed in the national medical rally, joining the 12th Ukrainian Emergency Medical Care Championship held in the Vinnytsia region. The event brought together 26 teams, including participants not only from Ukraine but also from Poland and Lithuania.
Rescuers from the Cherkasy region were the first representatives of the SES to take part in these competitions. Vinnytsia-based emergency workers also contributed by helping organize and run the practical stages of the event. This championship served as a key platform for advancing the skills of medical professionals and fostering the exchange of expertise in emergency medical care.
Strengthening Collaboration in Emergency Medicine
The SES medical unit’s involvement in the championship underscores the critical need for cooperation between different services and countries in the field of emergency medical care. Beyond boosting the professionalism of medics, the competition helps build international ties—an especially valuable outcome for sharing best practices and lessons learned. It also highlights Ukraine’s growing role in regional emergency medical initiatives.
