Traffic accident in Dnipropetrovsk region: A double-decker bus overturned, there is a victim

On the morning of July 7, 2025, a terrible traffic accident occurred near the village of Petrikovka in the Dniprovsky district. A passenger bus overturned, resulting in one death and 28 injuries, with those injured being hospitalized. This was reported citing the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers reported that six passengers were trapped under the overturned bus and had to be freed using special rescue equipment. All rescued individuals were handed over to medics for urgent care.

Unfortunately, one man died at the scene of the incident. 28 people sought medical attention for injuries of varying severity.

To eliminate the consequences of this accident, 10 rescuers and 3 units of firefighting and rescue equipment were involved. Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating all the circumstances of the accident. The number of injured and deceased for the population of Dnipropetrovsk region is being established.
