President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily address on July 30 reported several key decisions aimed at strengthening the defense potential of the state and working with international partners.
According to the head of state, the reorganization of the Agency for the Identification and Management of Assets (ARMA), which manages assets worth tens of billions of hryvnias, has begun. 'ARMA is an institution where assets worth tens of billions are held, including confiscated Russian property and assets of sanctioned individuals. All assets should work maximally for defense and resilience of our state,' Zelensky noted.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov completed tasks to expand contracts under the 18-24 program. Under this program, the circle of people who can join the Defense Forces on the technological front to operate drones is significantly expanded. The contract lasts for two years with all bonuses of the 18-24 program, good payments, and full training through a brigade system.
The government has also expanded opportunities for domestic weapon manufacturers to attract loans to increase production volumes for the Defense Forces.
International Cooperation
Regarding international cooperation, the president reported on the preservation of the 'Ramstein' format and thanked partners for its effectiveness. Zelensky also agreed on the main principles of large-scale arms deals with the USA, which he discussed with President Trump. 'This will definitely strengthen both our countries, and therefore our allies and partners,' the head of state emphasized.
The head of the Security Service Vasyl Malyuk reported on counteracting Russian agents and saboteurs, for which he received gratitude from the president. 'Everyone who chooses the side of the occupier must feel the fair power of Ukrainian law enforcement,' Zelensky stated.
Commander-in-Chief Syrski reported on the situation along various fronts. The president noted the effective work of the soldiers of the 71st separate Jaeger brigade of the Air Assault Forces in Sumy region, who successfully destroy Russian forces. The 225th separate assault battalion liberated Kindratovka in Sumy region.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Zelensky thanked the soldiers of the 25th separate airborne brigade and the 14th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine for their confidence in battles.
'Every day of our defense is an investment of our people, many Ukrainians into the independence of Ukraine. To withstand now, to protect our state, to protect Ukrainian national interests is to guarantee that Ukraine is and will be independent,' the president summarized.
