Two Ukrainian hotels received a higher category

Two Ukrainian hotels received a higher category of five stars as a result of the meeting of the Hotel Categorization Commission held on December 30, 2025. During the meeting, applications from hotels in various regions of Ukraine were considered, resulting in two establishments being awarded the highest level of service.

Mountain Residence Hotel wellness & spa, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the village of Polyanitsa, received a ★★★★★ category. This hotel is known for its high level of comfort and service, which allowed it to join the elite of Ukrainian hotels. The other establishment that also received five stars is the health and wellness complex 'Saint Charbel', located in the Lviv region, in the city of Morshyn. This complex offers a wide range of wellness procedures, which undoubtedly contributed to its success in categorization.

Results of the Commission meeting

In addition, other hotels were considered at the meeting. The hotel 'KROKUS' from the Dnipropetrovsk region, in the city of Pavlohrad, received a category of ★★★. The hotel 'AQUAPARK' from the Poltava region also received the same category ★★★. However, not all hotels were able to achieve the desired level. Hotel 'California', located in Odessa, did not receive a five-star category due to unresolved comments. Another hotel, 'DOGODA' from the Kyiv region, also did not receive a category, explaining this by insufficient materials.

Thus, the results of the meeting of the Hotel Categorization Commission demonstrated that only two hotels in Ukraine were able to achieve the highest category of five stars, highlighting their high level of service and quality of offered services.

The receipt of five stars by two Ukrainian hotels indicates the growing competition in the hotel service market in Ukraine.

This may encourage other establishments to improve their services and infrastructure to meet the new quality standards. The role of such awards in attracting tourists is also important, as high ratings can ensure a larger influx of visitors to the regions where these hotels are located.
