Housing for large families of IDPs in the Lviv region

Two large families of internally displaced persons (IDPs) received permanent housing in the Lviv region after losing their homes due to the war. This became possible thanks to funding from the state budget, which amounted to nearly 13 million UAH.

The new homes are located in the Mostyska community of the Lviv region. The Nikonenko family, who arrived from the Zaporizhzhia region, is raising nine children, while the Ferentsi family from Dnipropetrovsk region is taking care of seven orphaned children. Both families can now enjoy new houses with an area of about 250 m².

The importance of providing housing

This event is an important step in securing housing for large families who have faced hardships due to armed conflict. It demonstrates the state's efforts to support such families and provide them with the necessary living conditions.

Providing housing for large families of internally displaced persons is an important aspect of social policy in Ukraine in wartime. It also underscores the need for further initiatives in this direction to support those who have lost their homes and have experienced significant horrors due to armed conflict. Providing housing to such families not only helps address their urgent needs but also contributes to restoring social stability in regions that host IDPs.
