Fatal Incidents in Vinnytsia Region
Two people have died in separate incidents in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine due to faulty heating stoves. In the village of Yakushyntsi, Vinnytsia district, the body of a man, approximately 50 years old, was discovered inside a construction trailer. In a separate case, in the village of Zherebylivka, Yaryshiv community, a 92-year-old woman was found deceased on the veranda of her private home.
These tragedies highlight the dangers of stove heating, which is common in many rural Ukrainian homes, especially during the autumn and winter months. They follow a recent incident in the village of Osychna, Vinnytsia region, where a woman was found dead after a gas cylinder explosion in a private house. In response to these events, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) has once again urged the public to exercise extreme caution when using stoves for heating.
