Unified Firearm Registry Undergoing Scheduled Update
The Unified Firearm Registry will be taken offline for a planned upgrade. Users will lose access from 5:00 PM on June 7 until 8:00 AM on June 8, 2026. The downtime is necessary for technical work aimed at enhancing the registry's functional subsystem. This system is a central database for firearm registration and tracking in Ukraine.
What This Means for Users
During this period, electronic user accounts within the registry will be unavailable, as will all registry-related services offered through the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Single Window information portal. Individuals are advised to take note of these changes and adjust their plans accordingly to avoid any disruption.
This scheduled maintenance is a critical step toward improving both the efficiency and security of the Unified Firearm Registry. The update is expected to bring several enhancements, including:
- a refined user interface
- bug fixes
- the introduction of new features
These improvements aim to make interactions with the registry smoother and more convenient. Users should plan ahead to mitigate any inconvenience during the temporary suspension of services.
